It looks good, not sure what to review in this case lol
Will you be placing the button/switch yourself and not get it assembled?

I’ll be soldering at home this is my home pcb project to get practice

Nice!

You can skip or omit the CC1 and CC2 resistors
pixalynx
can you explain why? ^

This is what opus said 😮
```Yes. R1 and R2 are what make a USB-C charger turn its 5 V on at all.
Why they're needed: a USB-C charger or laptop port keeps VBUS at 0 V until it sees a device attached. It checks by pulling up its CC wire and looking for a 5.1 kΩ resistor to ground at the other end. R1 and R2 are those resistors.
With a C-to-C cable and no R1/R2, you'd get no power: the LED never lights and the button does nothing.
With a USB-A-to-C cable they don't matter. The cable has its own pull-up and USB-A ports always supply 5 V, so the board would work without them.
Why there are two: the plug is reversible, so the cable's single CC wire lands on either CC1 or CC2 depending on which way up you plug it in. Each pin gets its own resistor so it works both ways. Don't merge them into one shared resistor. In C-to-C cables the other CC pin can carry a cable-side load, and tying the pins together can stop some chargers from switching on.
Why they look idle: they pass about 80 µA at roughly 0.4 V, so you'll never see them warm up or measure any meaningful current. They work from the moment the cable goes in, whatever state SW1 is in, because the switch only controls the LED.
Why they look unconnected on the board: each resistor's top pad has no trace because it sits in the ground copper fill, and that fill is its ground connection. The bottom pad has the thin trace to the CC pin.```
Ehh practically theyre not needed, but sure if ai is saying theyre needed
pixalynx
if i dont place them but keep the traces will it still work ??
Seve
yea probably
i've never had an issue skipping the CC1/CC2, i think most things just send 5V by default
