Can we introduce thermalPadNotchLeft and thermalPadNotchRight for these types of thermal pads? ehh you would need to show it's more universal i don't know if this is common if it's in IPC then we could yeah, makes sense. gotcha mention It seems too expensive and is also out of st

ehh
Seve
you would need to show it's more universal
Seve
i don't know if this is common
Seve
if it's in IPC then we could
techmannih
yeah, makes sense. gotcha
Seve
You should have looked this up before you started working on it
Seve
Yes we cant order it
techmannih
I think we can switch to this module if TI doesn’t show much interest in it.
techmannih
Right, but why do we have to check this manually every time? I think if a chip is out of stock, we shouldn't be able to import it in tscircuit??
Seve
You could throw a warning on jlcpcb import but not an error
Seve
*tsci import
techmannih
yea sg

<@757706909351411845> I'm planning to build the Allwinner T113-S4-based Trellis Core. Is that okay? Board reference: https://github.com/protolux-electronics/trellis_core
Seve
sure just get it done quickly because it looks fairly easy! Try to break out a SPI bus via a JST connector so that i can connect a display to it!
Seve
how do you program this?
techmannih
The T113-S4 has a built-in FEL boot mode. We can put the board into FEL mode using the FEL button and connect it to a computer via USB-C. Then we can use `sunxi-fel` on the computer to load the bootloader/system image, Hold the FEL button → Connect the board to the Mac via USB-C → T113-S4 is detected in FEL mode → Run `sunxi-fel` commands on the Mac → Load the bootloader/image.
Seve
FEL button?
techmannih
yea I mean the UBOOT button on the Trellis Core. It is used to force the T113-S4 into FEL/USB boot mode
Seve
there is no UBOOT button from the screenshot i see
techmannih
Ohh dam AI f''*k me, sorry the PCB doesn't show a button labeled FEL. The repo only states that the schematic includes Reset and FEL mode buttons, while the PCB render shows them as SW1/SW2.
