Seve
are you able to do soldering to put the coin cell on the back
Seve
otherwise we have to pay for two sided assembly which is fine but it is pretty simple to solder if you do do it
Seve
or you could do all the soldering for this board b/c it's quite simple to put together i think
Seve
looks pretty good, i like the speaker symbol
Seve
i would say the schematic buttons part could be made much simpler by putting the resistor and button inline
mohan-bee
How do you program this ? if you are going to use a external attiny programmer then you don't have to assemble , also I see a cap in bottom .. keep that in top itself , for the coin cell holder yea you can easily solder .. if you can't some shops do that ig.
Seve
yea you need some kind of way to program e.g. test points, i think via swd
Seve
add a jst port
Seve
then we can easily do it in lab
mohan-bee
hey also in the i see the S1 has 4 pins but sch rep as 2 pin switch take look.
Seve
yea cuz two are internally connected
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
Yeah, I can do it
Seve
noise
Seve
*noice
Seve
so maybe mark that coin cell as doNotPlace and save us from two sided assembly costs
Seve
you can also check out the cost of both options and lmk

Actually, I’ve never ordered a PCB before, so I’m not really sure how the ordering process works or how to check the cost. I tried using JLCPCB, but it only shows a $2 + shipping special offer for my first order, so I can’t see what the regular price would be.

Seve
yea you have to go all the way to checkout, make sure to select that you want the top side assembled
Seve
<@398467566588264449> can help you as well, we should have a video tutorial at some point
mohan-bee
Hye can we order together <@452450065941004289>
mohan-bee
I will help you through
mohan-bee
maybe will also cutout the delhivery and import duty tax !
mohan-bee
which alone gets upto $50
mohan-bee
<@757706909351411845> wdyt ?
Seve
🤷 i would just order separately to get it to your house etc haha
mohan-bee
but that will like blow up to $100 just for delivery and import tax!! For both . maybee after received here we will deliver through local providers
Seve
Its not a huge deal, i want people to work with jlcpcb support
mohan-bee
<@452450065941004289> keep your via 0.3mm minViaHoleDiameter="0.3mm" minViaPadDiameter="0.45mm"
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
done
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
i was wondering if we could order this
Seve
go for it
Seve
you're going to need a programmer tho
Seve
make sure you understand the programming procedure and have an SWD breakout maybe with a JST connector
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
Shared an attachment
mohan-bee
maybe you can assemble 2 boards ?
mohan-bee
is that switch ?
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
yes
mohan-bee
ig this has lot of stock , https://jlcpcb.com/partdetail/C49023765
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
not this, the keyboard one
mohan-bee
maybe this works https://jlcpcb.com/partdetail/HanElectricity-CPG151101D13/C49234235
mohan-bee
this footprint is different maybe you need to tweak your design too for this
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
ATTINY cna be programmed with an UNO
! Rushabh | Linux Shill
i already have an UNO
Seve
yea but do you have something exposed so that you can connect to the attiny
