Could I get everyone’s opinion on this? I added several Board Surface Texture options so we can compare them and choose the best looking one. To test: 1. Make sure Realistic Presentation Mode is enabled. 2. Right click the viewer. 3. Open Board Surface Texture and try the options

Do you have any less aggressive texture need to see some variations pcb are quit smooth I think, but we pick whatever looks best

These textures look good, but could have performance issue.

The backgound seems too dark, kicad 3d viewer doesn't have this kind of dark background. What are you referencing?

That's why we chose to make it an option in the right-click menu

The metal components look good but most components are plastic not metal

yea looking pretty good, i'm still not fully satisified with the board texture (i want a tiny bit of grain or something) but it is pretty good
