Are they not throwing? ## ! Rushabh | Linux Shill — 2026-10-06T17:16:38.480000+00:00 no error or warning ## techmannih — 2026-10-06T17:21:33.928000+00:00 style analysis issue Attachment: Screenshot_2026-10-06_at_22.50.31.png — https://community.tscircuit.com/media/1557080387946151966 ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:22:09.432000+00:00 <@452450065941004289> your decoupling caps aren't placed properly, figure out the warning and fix ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:22:14.400000+00:00 like on the pcb ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:22:21.006000+00:00 it should be throwing an error ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:22:25.574000+00:00 it shouldn't even route ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:23:08.740000+00:00 also you should do a full assembly for this, as of now i think you probably will have to drop this because i don't think you're moving fast enough, gotta 5x the speed, should be looking at 2 design reviews daily for this kind of stuff ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:23:33.200000+00:00 everyone has to order by tomorrow ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:25:08.935000+00:00 also the turn counter was never supposed to connect over bluetooth so this is also confusing ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:25:15.245000+00:00 the turn counter was always supposed to be NFC ## Seve — 2026-10-06T17:25:22.712000+00:00 i just don't think you have a good grasp on the product here ## ! Rushabh | Linux Shill — 2026-10-06T18:31:37.191000+00:00 With NFC, the MCU could update a dynamic NFC tag with the latest count, but the iPhone doesn't treat a normal NFC tag like a continuously connected peripheral. Reading the updated value generally requires an NFC interaction, so it isn't ideal if we want the number on the phone screen to change live as the knob is rotated. ## ! Rushabh | Linux Shill — 2026-10-06T18:31:47.157000+00:00 With BLE, the MCU can keep counting locally and send updated values to the iPhone while the device remains connected. That gives us the experience I was trying to achieve: ## ! Rushabh | Linux Shill — 2026-10-06T18:33:45.223000+00:00 I just sent the board for review, and I’m already working on the full 3D enclosure assembly. ## ! Rushabh | Linux Shill — 2026-10-06T18:33:53.899000+00:00 I’ll share that next as soon as it’s ready for review. ## ! Rushabh | Linux Shill — 2026-10-06T18:58:44.727000+00:00 <@757706909351411845> ## Seve — 2026-10-06T19:01:51.365000+00:00 you don't need it to be continuously connected, use a tscircuit assembly ## Seve — 2026-10-06T19:02:10.161000+00:00 don't use ble, you don't need continuous reading, also you need magnets to stick to the iphone
