I think you are right about the JST  copnnector i tried to replicate those old cellphone removable batteries to give it a very premium experience, my vision was to get a lipo battery and sort of enclose it and expose the pads, but i wasnt sure how to prompt this so i told fable "like how psp's and old phones had removable batteries" 

I think for V1 JST is the way to go.

Also I think you are right about programming it, i didnt think this one through, my prompt was more to get a final product, i think i need to make this change
