Have a compilation error: ` source_failed_to_create_component_error:Could not create netlabel. So there's no way to change where the GND node is rendered? ## Seve — 2026-07-14T18:25:41.830000+00:00 ok i think i understand what your desired behavior is Attachment: image.png — https://community.tscircuit.com/media/1526655947400024154 ## Seve — 2026-07-14T18:25:52.220000+00:00 yea we will revert it ## Seve — 2026-07-14T18:25:53.877000+00:00 sorry about that ## Seve — 2026-07-14T18:26:02.513000+00:00 i didn't understand it fully and interpreted it as a spec issue ## astrimid — 2026-07-14T18:29:10.682000+00:00 basically, I'm reimplementing these GND symbols on the reference. Curently, `GND` label rendering is random and doesn't seem to be influenced by `schMaxTraceDistance` Attachment: image.png — https://community.tscircuit.com/media/1526656823590129745 ## Seve — 2026-07-14T18:29:45.901000+00:00 yea i'm adding testing so that nobody breaks what i broke in the future ## Seve — 2026-07-14T18:30:06.046000+00:00 it makes sense actually, you want a netlabel for a connection, not a "net" per-se ## Seve — 2026-07-14T18:30:19.557000+00:00 after we have the testing it will be unlikely to break in the future ## astrimid — 2026-07-14T18:40:09.309000+00:00 Maybe I need both connection labels (DC source, GND, physical data socket) and line labels. Look at the reference picture for SDC_IN for example. I guess it's a network that has the same name as the global source port. I guess I can do this visually, but would this have any distinct semantic meaning? ``` /* draw a circle and a line pointing down */ } /> ``` Attachment: image.png — https://community.tscircuit.com/media/1526659585618870362 ## astrimid — 2026-07-14T18:59:10.935000+00:00 I haven't looked into components yet, but I figure the bold text represents the component boundary or the port while the red text represents the net label which could be either a data line, a power line or a ground
